Data Retention

Account-free Curfew data stays on your devices. Account data is kept only as long as needed to synchronize, secure, and support purchases.

On your devices

You control schedules, wake settings, callback secrets, and local history. Current macOS activity and reflection history roll off after 52 weeks. Removing the app does not always remove shared containers or operating-system backups; use Curfew's data controls before uninstalling.

In a Curfew Account

• Encrypted sync records remain until you delete the record or account.
• Expired or revoked sessions, OAuth grants, and routing artifacts are removed within 30 days unless security investigation requires a temporary hold.
• Remote-unlock audit records are retained for 365 days.
• Entitlement, refund, and payment-reference records are retained as needed for licensing, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations.
• IP addresses may be processed for transport security and rate limiting but are not stored in Curfew application records.

Export and deletion

You can export your purchases, devices, grants, audits, and encrypted records before deletion. When you delete your Curfew account, active sessions and grants are revoked and account-scoped sync data is queued for deletion. Required purchase records are disassociated where possible and retained only for the purposes above. Signed offline licenses remain subject to their purchase and refund state.
